Beijingers hungering for a date night deal will be happy to hear that Sep 15 marks the second round of Dining City Restaurant Week’s 2020 promotion. The event runs from Sep 17 to Oct 11 and includes access to set meal deals from nearly 70 restaurants around Beijing (as well as hundreds across China).
Some of the biggest fine dining names involved this time include Maison Flo, Cépe at The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Hoshioka, Cai Yi Xuan, and Mio at the Four Seasons, and Vege Wonder. However, if your budget doesn’t stretch that far there’s plenty more to enjoy from a broad range of newer and longstanding favorites. Some of the newly joined restaurants that caught our eye include Superfly at The Opposite House, Tang by Meeting Someone, Miam Miam, and BEI Commune at the BEI Zhaolong Hotel.
As with the spring edition, menu categories are divided by how much you’re looking to spend. In the ‘Elite’ bracket, the price of a meal is determined by the restaurant, whereas the lower three brackets range from lunch for RMB 78/108/138 or dinners for RMB 118/198/288 (plus service fee and VAT). At nearly all of the venues, the set menu will span at least three courses for lunch and dinner and multiple options for each course.
Diners can access the full list of participating restaurants starting today (Sep 15) at 10am, either via Dining City’s website or by scanning the QR code below.
Simply put, this is a great opportunity to try some of Beijing’s best food at hugely discounted prices, however, spaces are limited so it pays to reserve early.
