Signature’s annual Halloween dinner is packed with treats for kids and big kids alike. Explore a buffet full of themed dishes like Halloween witches soup with dumpling eyes, as well as a whole selection of spooky sweets. If the food isn’t enough to keep the kids entertained, there will also be a Halloween movie room, face painting, and trick or treating.

Oct 31: The Local’s Halloween Family Brunch
Join The Local for Halloween brunch, when they’ll serve fall and Halloween-themed drinks alongside their usual brunch menu (we like their waffle brunches). They’ll have pumpkin crafts, face painting, and other activities for kids 12 and under, as well as goody bags for the first 30 customers and kids in costume. Note that The Local asks that you reserve if you’re coming in a large group — find details on their official WeChat here.
10am-3pm. The Local. A la carte pricing.
Oct 31-Nov 1: EAST’s Trick or Treat Halloween Full Buffet Brunch
Feast’s Halloween brunch is definitely all about the treats, with a wide range of savory and sweet dishes on the buffet — many with a Halloween twist, of course. There will be prizes for the best costumes, and any kids who dine at feast can take part in a Halloween cookie class downstairs at Xi’an for free (usually RMB 98 for 1 kid + 1 adult).
11.30am-3pm. Feast by EAST. RMB 398, free for kids 3 years and under, half-price for kids aged 4-12 years
Oct 31: Halloween “Spooky Fun” Buffet at Grand Cafe
Grand Hyatt Beijing’s chefs will be brewing up whimsical dishes and serving up a sumptuous feast with a Halloween theme for you and your family to enjoy. Show off your Halloween spirit by coming to lunch dressed up in a costume. All kids who go trick-or-treating at the other restaurant will receive Halloween gifts and there will also be a piñata and face painting. This is a great option for those who can’t make a daytime Halloween celebration, as the buffet is also available at dinner.
11.30am-3pm, 5.30-9pm. Grand Cafe. RMB 398, free for kids aged 1-5 years, half-price for kids aged 6-12 years
Oct 24-Nov 1: Hulu’s Halloween Menu
Not strictly a brunch, but we couldn’t resist adding Hulu’s wonderfully creative Halloween menu. From deviled eggs topped with creepy critters to gravlax rolls shaped like fingers to bat wings (don’t worry, they’re actually chicken wings colored with squid ink), brave diners can expect to encounter plenty of spooky treats and creatures like skeletons, vampires, and ghosts. While we’re sure this menu will be a hit with kids, adults aren’t left out either with Halloween-themed cocktails like the I Put a Spell On You, a negroni served in a smoking skull. The menu is available at Hulu Sanlitun, Indigo, and the branch next to WAB from Oct 24 to Nov 1.
Oct 31-Nov 1: “Stupefy” Themed Brunch at Market Cafe
Head to Market Cafe at Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing for a Halloween party inspired by Harry Potter. Enjoy a buffet of spooky treats (plus Harry Potter-themed cocktails and free-flow wine for the adults), plus the first 30 kids to RSVP (010 8634 1234) will get complimentary Harry Potter costumes.
5.30-9.30pm (Oct 31), 11.30am-2.30pm (Nov 1). Market Cafe. RMB 426, free for kids under 5 years, RMB 188 for kids 6-12 years
