At last, that most delicious time of the year has rolled around once more. Restaurant Week – which is a bit of a misnomer since it expanded to a month-long affair last year – will take place in 14 cities across China from Mar 11 to Apr 4. Beijingers can start booking tables at more than 60 restaurants around town beginning Mar 9 (or, for American Express cardmembers, Mar 4.)
All the old favorites like Jing Yaa Tang, Opera Bombana, and Migas Mercado will be participating, along with plenty of fresh additions, including Leo by Flo, Superfly, Frasca, and Casa Talia by Tiago.
How exactly does Restaurant Week work, you ask? Essentially, it allows you to try set menus in the city’s top restaurants, tailored to your price range – from RMB 78 lunches on the C-level menu, to RMB 298 dinners on the A-level menu, plus the “Elite” packages for those who really like to splurge.
All that’s to say that no matter the size of your wallet, you can fill your belly with some of the best grub in Beijing for hugely discounted prices this month – as long as you manage to reserve a spot. To get booking, sign up on Dining City’s website or through the app, which can be found via the QR code below. But if you can’t book your favorite spot, then don’t fret, because Restaurant Week is now a biannual happening. Just try another go in the fall!
