Screens & Teens Parenting Seminar
These days, screens and teens go together like peas and carrots… but if you’re not 100% happy with your adolescent’s relationship with their devices, or would like to delve deeper into the relationship between screen time and stress cycles, then this parenting seminar is for you. Hosted by City Church Youth Ministry, and led by Ben and Titi Hill, home and workplace relationship counselors, this seminar is sure to give you the tools you need to forge a new healthy relationship with your screens, and your teen.

Youth Photography Project of Peking Opera
Got a mini shutterbug at home? This fantastic workshop, co-hosted by renowned Beijing photography gallery 3 Shadows and Culture Art Tour will combine the art, history, and culture of traditional Peking Opera with professional photography techniques and workshops. Kids will get to delve into all aspects of Peking Opera, including trying on traditional makeup and costumes, while learning from some of the best photographers and videographers in the business.

Early Bird Positive Life Festival (早鸟正向生活节)
From this Saturday to Monday, Shengya Shenglu International Winery in Chaoyang District is hosting a super fun family festival: think interactive craft and nature workshops, farmyard animals to pet, live fitness and dance activities, loads of tasty food to sample, and lots of green space for you to relax and set out a picnic spread.

“Mars 2035” Immersive Science and Art Exhibition
With China landing their Zhurong rover on Mars in May, the big red planet is the flavor of the month! And this weekend marks the opening of the Mars 2035 Immersive Science and Art Exhibition at the Beijing World Art Museum in Haidian. Attendees can role play as an astronaut and land the Zhurong on the surface of Mars, watch a thrilling live theatre performance, and much much more. The exhibition runs until the end of August.

Miyazaki Hayao and Ghibli’s World Animation Art Exhibition
We sure are spoiled right now… a second fantastic exhibition is opening this Sunday at Today Art Museum in Shuangjing, this one all about Miyazaki Hayao, the beloved animator behind Japanese Ghibli Studios, the creators of classics like My Neighbor Totoro, Swept Away, Magic Princess, and more. The exhibition will feature hundreds of original prints and drawings and themed immersive exhibition rooms, including large-scale recreations of special scenes from My Neighbor Totoro, such as the iconic Cat Bus. Best of all, kids under 1.2m attend for free. The exhibition runs until October 10.
