“You Rock School–Back to the Future” Bilingual Interactive Show for Kids
On Egg Planet in the year 2154 everyone is into electronic music, while few people are interested in the history of rock music. As a result, rock music is at risk of dying out… Who will save the day?! You’ll have to sign up for this wacky and fun time-traveling musical show to find out! Suitable for kids 6 and older, this event also includes the option for a half-day camp with workshops and activities centered around rock music, culture, and history, all held in both Chinese and English.
Performance: 3.30pm or 6.30pm, Half-day camp Section A: 2pm, Half-day camp Section B: 5pm. Nanyang 5Lmeet. RMB 180 for performance only, RMB 280 with half-day camp (or RMB 750 for 3 people).
It’s time for the second children’s event of the American Literature Festival, and in honor of Children’s Day in June the organizers of the festival have decided to share some of their favorite stories for young ears. As well as enjoying the opportunity to listen to these great stories, kids will also be able to try out braille technology, and maybe even win a prize in the book giveaway! Pre-registration is required.
10am. Beijing American Center. Free.
