T-minus five days and counting… this ship is headed for the stars… and a constellation of the juiciest burgers in town! Because the space-themed 2021 Beijing Burger Festival is back on at Langyuan Station Track-Field for Mid-Autumn Festival weekend, Sep 19-21!
We know it’s been a long wait, and we thank you for your patience as we dealt with a bit of maintenance on the Burger Festival launch pad. But unless we can guarantee the absolute safety of all our astronauts big and small, then our launch must be delayed. Nevertheless! The longer the meat marinates, the tastier it becomes. And lucky for flavor lovers, it’s been an extra-long wait for this year’s Beijing Burger Festival!
Regardless of early engine trouble, you’d better believe this ship is launching into the cosmos in search of the tastiest burgers the capital has to offer! After all, what’s better than a space-themed burger festival on a holiday celebrating the moon?
Now, if you’ve never heard of Langyuan Station, don’t feel out of the loop. It’s not one of the major five family-friendly places in Beijing that are constantly being talked about. It does, however, boast one of the city’s largest outdoor play areas, Haxxy Kids Playspace.
Looking ever so futuristic and totally on-brand for this year’s Burger Fest, Haxxy has a gigantic indoor and outdoor playground for kids to run around and play. The outdoor area is shaped like a spaceship with rolling surfaces and slides while inside, there are foam pits, climbing walls, merry-go rounds, slides, rest areas, ball pits, movies, toys, a library, and plenty of make-believe rooms for imaginations to run wild.

There will be three days of munching on juicy patties, sipping on cool drinks, and jamming out fun vibes by the old train tracks. It’s like 2001 Space Odyssey meets Stand By Me, which has almost certainly never, ever been done. Surely, you won’t want to miss out on the first time that all Beijing burger lovers gather at this amazing venue.
Where is Langyuan Station, you ask? Well, any devoted burger fan will know the location thanks to one of its newest neighbors, Station Grill, which is super hot amongst the social media-savvy crowd. It’s just inside the East 5th Ring, a mere hop, skip, and a jump east of 798 and Indigo. The area lacks a convenient public transport stop so your best bet is to either Didi from home, or take the subway to the nearest station — Jiangtai on Line 14 — and grab a Didi or a sharebike from there.
Of course, with as much trouble that this COVID business has given us, we’re being as careful as possible. All guests must show their health code and cannot have traveled to any medium- or high-risk areas for the past 14 days. Furthermore, we strongly suggest that all guests be vaccinated, and non-vaccinated guests should reconsider attendance.
We’d like to thank our sponsors for sticking through the long journey to this year’s festival. Firstly, our special sponsor JSS Delivery, who’s a great choice for ordering burgers and much more to your door! We’d also like to thank plant-based meat company Beyond Meat, who in addition to flipping up vegetarian burgers at the fest will also provide fans to keep all our visitors cool.
We’re also very excited about the bandanas we’re offering to early bird ticket buyers this year. Take a peek at the three stellar choices below.
And remember, those who do come to the fest dressed in their finest space-themed threads will earn an exclusive 2021 Burger Fest moonburger pin (while supplies last). Check it out!
