Calling all Teachers the Annual British Chamber Charity Quiz is back! After a two-year pandemic-related hiatus Beijing’s best and brightest teachers are ready to try and out nerd each other at Xian Bar at East. You better come with your thinking caps on because The International Montessori School of Beijing (MSB) is ready to defend its title.
A six-round pub quiz will pit teams of six teachers from Beijing’s best schools against each other. The winning team gets to decide which charity is the recipient of the night’s earnings. In addition to bragging rights, there are tons of great prizes from Plastered 8, Moka Bros, Jing-A, Cheers Wine, Bottega, Bodhi Spa, XIX Spirit, Toast at the Orchid, Taozi Tree Yoga, Beijing Field Studies, and more!
This is a teacher and staff-only event! No parents and no kids allowed, so, educators, you can let your hair down a little bit while enjoying discounted drinks and plates from the amazing East Kitchen!
Tickets are RMB 180 per person and earn you a spot at the table, the chance to win great prizes, and the use of the knowledge you paid an exorbitant amount of money to an institute of higher learning for.
But as Julian Fisher, vice-chair of the British Chamber of Commerce in China reminds us, “Pub quizzes aren’t about winning. They really aren’t. They’re about being with people you like and having fun. And I can promise you this will be a lovely evening for everyone involved.”
