Students at Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) have been talking about how artists can be advocates for the natural world. They found some tiny but fascinating little creatures and have been working on capturing the intricate body parts with basic shapes and recreating beautiful colors of insects. With the eyes of scientists and hands and minds of artists, the students did an excellent job building up our drawing skills for the future art project to come.
