There’s a new all-day indoor playground for kids that recently opened in Fangshan District. There are already a bunch of them in the city, so why drive all the way out to Fangshan to play?
The newly opened 幼实稚趣儿童乐园 (yòu shí zhì qù ér tóng lè yuán) has a slightly different approach than letting kids free play all day. They’ve got all the essentials of an indoor playground like ball pits, slides, sandpits, dress-up, swings, and toys, but what makes them different is that they’ve also got themed classrooms with activities led by their staff and rooms to let their imaginations run wild.
Everything at 幼实稚趣儿童乐园 is all-inclusive. When you go, the first thing you’ll receive is an electronic bracelet which you’ll use to book your classes.
Behind one of the doors, you’ll find a mud pit room. Kids are covered from head to toe in a yellow rubber suit and the staff at 幼实稚趣儿童乐园 takes them on a fun session of jumping and splashing around in the mud.
In another, you’ll find a pink ballet studio where they teach classes from kids’ yoga to dance. Other activity rooms include arts and crafts, cooking, science experiments, woodshop, and a starry night room where parents and kids can lie down to unwind.

Pro tip:
Buy your tickets either through Dianping or Douyin. It’ll be much cheaper. Tickets for 1 adult + 1 child is RMB 188 if you know how to purchase tickets on Douyin. If not, ask the staff at the entrance for help.
幼实稚趣儿童乐园 is open from 10am-8pm daily. It’s an all-day hang-out spot that also includes a cafe with kid-friendly food and rooms in case the kids want to nap.
