With quarantine regulations being removed and borders officially reopening on Jan 8, it feels like the end of an era. So what can we do to get out and about and say goodbye to 2022 and welcome long-awaited 2023? Here are our recommendations for events happening this week that are perfect for enjoying the last days of the year:
EPSON teamLab Massless Art Exhibition
This kid-friendly exhibition is finally back on and open for visitors every day except Mondays.
Becoming part of the artwork and understanding how alive the world around us really is is the main idea behind this awesome exhibition. There are floating clouds you can walk through, an infinite crystal universe to experience, and typhoon light balls that continuously move and change color when pushed by another light ball. One of the really awesome parts of the showcase is the Sketch Ocean exhibit, where visitors get to draw a fish on a special piece of paper and see their fish swim out into the ocean with fish drawn by others! Tickets for the interactive exhibition can be purchased for RMB 99, and are free for kids under 2. The exhibit will run from Dec 24 until Jan 20 at Chaoyang Joy City.
