When the sun goes out, the light festival goers come out to play!
Longtan Park’s festival of lights is back at it again. With more than 17 light installation sculptures spread around the park, they’ve created an enchanting forest of lights for families with plenty of interactive light installations for kids like the training mushrooms, waves, a giant screen where kids get to jump like monkeys and make new friends with other kids, and even a field of sound activated lights.
Your ticket also covers all the small performances throughout the park. There are acrobats and clowns performing on a nightly basis that are great for kids.
Pro Tip: Check the performance schedule as soon as you arrive so you don’t miss out on any of the shows.
They’ve even added a water-splashing section for kids to cool off. Bring your own water guns and change of clothes when you go. You’re bound to get soaked from head to toe.
Walk by the firefly field installation or dress up in all blue and take photos with the Avatar-inspired tree. When there’s a cool breeze out at night, it’s a great place to take the kids for some fun before bedtime.
