From kids’ outdoor playgrounds like Happy Thursday Sports Park to indoor learning centers such as Little Oasis, to video game arcades and unique spas for body therapy, not to forget our mainstay; family-friendly restaurants, we go around town to discover all the family-worthy places to go in Beijing! We even extended our reach all the way to Shanghai when editor Mina Yan visited the bustling city with her toddler in tow.
Most recently, we’re happy to report that we finally set foot into the wonderful Dastaan restaurant at Sanlitun SOHO after ordering waimai from the place countless times. Read our full review on Dianping to find out what’s so special about the restaurant and what we strongly recommend you try there!
We also reviewed a new discovery – an outdoor playground just east of the fourth ring road not too far from Honglinjin Park. For just RMB39, your toddler and young kids can play in the sand and climb the brand-new playground equipment for 3 hours – not a bad deal! Check out our photos in our full review on the app!
We’ll continue to focus on family-friendly destinations and eateries around the capital, and we welcome your suggestions for our next review. Just write down in the comments below where or what you’d like us to check out and we promise to make it our highest priority.
As always, we endeavor to use a simple rating system out of 5 stars to rate family-friendliness, cleanliness, quality, price, and location, where applicable. We’re also happy to publish your reviews if you have any you’d like to share!
