Christmas markets are a-booming this upcoming festive season, and most tickets go on sale starting this weekend! We’ve rounded up as many family-friendly Christmas markets as we can find – from free markets in international schools to the big headlining events like the German Christmas Market and more.
WAB Community Market
The holidays are fast approaching and Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) is excited to invite you to their annual Community Market on Sat, Nov 25! The market aims to celebrate the community, spread cheer, and help to support the school’s community partners. WAB Community Market is the place to go to pick up thoughtful holiday gifts, win fun raffle prizes, enjoy live performances, and indulge in delicious food from vendors across Beijing.

German Charity Christmas Bazaar
After years of hiatus due to the word that shall not be said, the German Charity Christmas Bazaar is finally back on Dec 2! Due to previous high demand, this year’s market will be broken into two sessions: one in the morning from 10am to 2pm and one in the afternoon from 3pm to 7pm. British Christmas Market
The British Chamber of Commerce in China and the British Embassy in Beijing are pleased to present the return of the Christmas Market at His Majesty’s Ambassador’s Residence on Dec 2. Check out vendors bringing festive cheer with Christmas treats, food, drinks, and loads of amazing things to buy, from arts and crafts to top Christmas gifts. There’ll also be festive performances from the British community, a raffle for great prizes, and even the chance to meet Father Christmas! Each ticket grants admission to one of three sessions on the day: 10am-1pm, 2pm-5pm, and 6pm-9pm. Tickets cost RMB 120, while children under three get in for free. BCIS Christmas Bazaar
Beijing City International School (BCIS), in partnership with Roundabout’s Helping Hands Project, brings Santa Claus to town at the annual BCIS Christmas Bazaar on Sun, Dec 3, at the BCIS Main Campus. Celebrate the holidays and see beautiful Christmas lights and decorations, do some Christmas shopping, and embrace holiday cheer with festive music and food.

BSB Shunyi Winter Fayre German Market
Enjoy the sights and flavours of a traditional German Christmas Market with wooden huts, with vendors selling gifts and hot food. There will be musical performances, the lighting of the Christmas tree, and festive games by teachers for the kids. Don’t miss the chance to meet Santa as well! All proceeds from the event goes to Dew Drops Little Flower charity. There may still be spots left for interested vendors and sponsors.
