Attention, dinosaur nerds. Universal Studios is no longer the only place where kids can spend some time surrounded by their favorite dinosaurs. APM Mall in Wangfujing has opened Ancient Legends: Exploring the Jurassic – its own interactive dinosaur place on the fourth floor where the ticket price is under RMB 100. Now, before you get TOO excited, there are no rides at this place that can compare to those at Universal. This is more of a VR experience and is tailored to a younger (more easily impressed) audience, but it’s definitely something to add to the list of places to see during winter break.
The new Jurassic Park interactive experience covers an area of about 2,000 square meters and has a dozen immersive interactive areas with scenes that look like they’re plucked right out of the Jurassic World movie, and it aims to give visitors a more realistic experience and allow them to immerse themselves in the Jurassic world 65 million years ago.
There are many highlights in the interactive area. At the excavation site, visitors can become little archaeologists and experience the fun of excavating dinosaur fossils by themselves. In the jungle adventure area, people can walk through the simulated jungle and encounter various dinosaurs up close, as if they have really entered the world of dinosaurs.
This interactive place is not only a location for entertainment and play, but it also has a certain educational significance. Through various interactive activities and exhibitions, visitors can get knowledge of dinosaurs, the history of the Jurassic period, and the importance of protecting the ecological environment.
