With but a few days to go until the start of the hottest festival Beijing has ever known, it’s time to get yourself ready! Don’t get lost on the way to this year’s Spicy Fest. Here’s how to get to Galaxy Soho.
Have you been rendered jobless/studyless by the abominable coronavirus? Well, this is your chance to get involved in an exciting and career-boosting internship opportunity. Here at the Beijinger, we are always on the lookout for talent. If you want to get involved in media and publishing, then interning at thebeijinger.com will give you all that and more.
Are you someone who roams around the city, camera in hand, capturing the beating heart of our vibrant metropolis? If so, then we want to hear from you – or rather, see your work!
The Beijinger is looking to purchase photos from your archives (at least ten usable images) that show Beijing as the young, lively, exciting place we all know and love for a project that looks to capture all that Beijing has to offer.
Our plans to sneak spicy peppers into zongzi for Dragonboat festival were foiled by a second outbreak of COVID-19. Thankfully, the storm has calmed, and while there may not be as much sticky rice, there will certainly be plenty of spice and everything nice (may it not be postponed twice!), allowing you to enjoy three full days of delicious food, live entertainment, and mixing with Beijing’s vibrant expat community.
A country famous for its incredible food culture and vibrant street life, Mexico makes for the ideal backdrop for a three-day food festival. It also gives us every excuse to fill the Galaxy Soho to the rafters with tacos, nachos, and an endless supply of tequila.
