When one of our favorite local travel companies Bespoke Beijing announced that their First Ever DIY Beihai Park Scavenger Hunt was up and running, we were over the moon.
Located by the Sixth Ring Road in the north-east of the city, at the junction between Chaoyang, Shunyi, and Tongzhou districts, Dongjiao Wetland Park is an expansive and bucolic 3-square-kilometer space home to a lake, several ponds, a white sand beach, and a 35km-long fitness trail.
When standing on Chang’An Avenue, or in the shadow of the skyscrapers in the CBD, Beijing can really feel like a concrete jungle. But among all the busy streets and seemingly endless construction sites there is an abundance of beautiful green spaces and parks, for people of all ages to enjoy.
Aqua Magic (欢乐水魔方水上乐园) water park officially reopens tomorrow on Jul 12 and it promises to be cool fun for the whole family. The family-friendly park includes rides suitable for people of all ages from 25-meter tall water slides for grownups to underwater-themed splash pools for the kids.
